7th Grade Teacher

 

Eleanor Wilkerson graduated from Wofford College in 2021 where she received two Bachelor of Arts degrees: Literature and Environmental Studies. She will have the opportunity to apply both in teaching 7th grade English, History, and Earth Science. In 2023, she had the unique opportunity to teach English as a foreign language abroad in Vietnam. She taught a variety of ages, from 4 years old to 16 years old, with varying language capabilities. While on that side of the world, she and her twin sister backpacked Southeast Asia for several months: Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. Upon returning to the US, she moved back to Montana where she worked in watershed conservation in the Great Plains. Having spent the last five years out West or in Asia, she is thrilled to return home to the Lowcountry and be near her family as her siblings get married and nieces and nephews are being born! She's so excited to become part of the Holy Trinity faculty family. She feels like this is the most welcoming, supportive school to begin her teaching career. She is thankful to be surrounded by the teachers, students, and Holy Trinity families. She can't wait to get into the classroom and get students fired up about American history and literature as well as Earth science.
