6th Grade Teacher
(Math, Composition, Literature, Grammar, Poetry)

Mrs. Steinhauser holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where her areas of study focused on Journalism and Mass Communication and Environmental Science. She brings with her a well-rounded professional background prior to joining the HTCCS faculty which includes teaching elementary art history and life sciences in Hawaii and California. She also has been working on her nonfiction middle grade book series, which will soon be published with Elva Resa Publishing. Like many families during the pandemic, Mrs. Steinhauser taught her two children at their home in California implementing a rigorous curriculum from a Christian perspective through a charter school. Once they were settled in South Carolina, Mrs. Steinhauser made the decision to transition from the role of substitute teacher to a full-time teaching position. Mrs. Steinhauser enjoys serving in her community and has been an active member of the Marine Corps Spouses Club for 18 years holding various positions. She has served as a Marine Corps Family Readiness Assistant for over a decade. Mrs. Steinhauser is excited for her second year teaching 6th grade at Holy Trinity Classical Christian School!
