Teamwork

Holy Trinity started the soccer program in the spring of 2016. We currently have four teams consisting of boys and girls at the middle school and varsity levels.

Our coaches for middle school are Cynthia Scarpa for the girls’ team and Seth Scarpa for the boys’ team. Our high school/varsity coaches are Hunter Squires for the girls’ team and Dave Sheehan for the boys’ team.

Students in grades 5 and up are eligible to participate in Soccer at Holy Trinity Classical Christian School. All soccer teams commence official pre-season in January with official practices starting in February and games starting in March running through May.

During practice, the teams focus on 3 main elements:

  • Ball Control
  • Passing, important to play and win as a team
  • Communication

The varsity girls soccer team finished as state runner-up for the 2018 soccer season in its inaugural varsity season. Holy Trinity also had both a player and a coach named regional player and regional coach of the year.
