Holy Land Pilgrimage - Day 4 - HOLY TRINITY

On DAY 4 of the Pilgrimage, our group said farewell to the Gaililee, and traveled by bus into Jordan. Beginning at the impressive remains of Jerash (ancient Gerasa), with its triumphal arch, forum, theater, and impressive main street (Cardo Maximus): founded in 300 BC by the soldiers of Alexander the Great, this is one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world. Closing out the day with a special service of Compline by the Dead Sea, and for some, a swim in the pools at the Mariott.
