Mrs. Dawn Cannon

Mrs. Dawn Cannon received her BA in English from the University of South Carolina. She began her teaching career in 1986 and has taught in middle and grammar schools, served as a substitute teacher, and homeschooled her own children. Mrs. Cannon joined the Holy Trinity staff in 2023 as receptionist. Last year, she accepted the role of 1st grade teacher mid-year 2025-2026 school year and continues in that role. She is excited about instilling confidence in young learners in language skills, reading, writing and grammar. She wants to help students approach math with excitement and curiosity and is looking forward to getting to know the unique personalities and God-given gifts of the children entrusted to her.
