Fortunately, Holy Trinity Classical Christian School rarely has issues with students missing too many days of school. In fact, every quarter over 90% of the grammar and upper school students actually have perfect attendance!
However, we know that illness and family excursions do come up. In these instances, we ask the following:
To be excused for an absence, a student shall submit, within three (3) school days of the absence, when reasonably feasible, a note signed by a parent explaining the reason(s) for the absence. The note must be turned in at the School Office and directed to the Headmaster or his or her designee. Failure to comply with these procedures may result in the absence being unexcused.
Absentees (excused or unexcused) may not attend a Holy Trinity Classical Christian School function in the afternoon or evening without the Headmaster’s permission. A student attending without such permission is subject to disciplinary action.
Students must complete assignments missed during an absence from school. A student will have one school day for every day missed to a maximum of five (5) days to complete make-up work. It is the parent’s responsibility to find out what work was assigned. Parents should contact teachers regarding missed assignments.
